identity and reputation management

The problem is that no matter how well we play, the real corporations will necessary beat us. This is their realm. Corporations will always be better at being corporations than people will. They don't need to eat, sleep, or, worst of all, feel. They do not age, or suffer doubt. They do not need to be reassured or loved. If we really want to compete effectively, that's the direction we'll have to go.
Our only hope may be to consider the possibility that neither our corporations nor the money on which they thrive are real. They weren't here to begin with. We invented them, together, just as we invented our selves.
