Social Graph Surveillance

Some time ago I was thinking about stopping using Google services, so they won't have information about me through my content anymore. And then it struck me: If most of my friends and colleagues have their content in and through Google, then Google must have all my content anyway.

If I write emails to @gmail-addresses, if I chat with through jabber with friends who have GTalk-accounts etc. - my content is at Google.

And so it is not surprising to see these social connections, that Google aggregates about us.

google scheint das wesen des netzes verstanden und verinnerlicht zu haben. vernetzung, verlinkung, den link als die währung des netzes baut google weiter aus.
