Computer named TV

While buying a TV, my 2-year-old son pointed at the giant screen and said with obviousness: "Big computer.". Wanting to correct him at first, it struck me how right he was. So I replied: "Yes, son. This computer is called a TV."

I'm constantly reminded of your early posts about this topic, when I see my almost 2yo son interact with my iPhone/iPad. He likes to watch photos of things we did in the past and he flicks through them on his one, retelling the stories. And he was totally dumbfounded when a friend's compact digital camera's screen he was warchejng photos on, wasn't reacting to his gestures. Love it.

Great to hear from you, Benjamin.

Actually, I had to reduce the iPad usage of my son to the minimum (almost none), as he became quite addicted to it. So now we enjoy building things from LEGO, reading books or drawing. Thus i'm not so frustrated about those interfaces anymore :-)

TV

I used to love the TV. Then for years I only watched TV in order to get a decent culture shock. Since TVs got smart computers, I'm curious again.
